How does HE teaching provision map with the kinds of DESIS projects currently taking place outside academia? Where are the strengths and weaknesses of current provision? Do we need to educate students more thoroughly on the broader issues that inform social/sustainability projects? What are the current shortcomings of design HE in preparing students for employment in the field of Social innovation? What is design HE doing to prepare students for the multi disciplinary and multi agency collaboration required by DESIS in the real world? How in tune is curriculum with policy affecting design led social innovation and social enterprise. What role can DESIS and Design HE play in cultivating social enterprise in HE? In what ways could the projects and teaching we deliver link up with the kinds of projects described during the presentations on day 1? What are the implications of external DESIS projects for how we understand and articulate design capabilities and skills?
